Your responsibilities will include:

• Uploading artwork and photographs on WordPress.
• Resizing images where need be.
• Finding images when needed.
• Publishing articles after polishing

Knowledge of WordPress, photography and graphics is essential. Promptness and  commitment is also mandatory.

We are looking for a UWS student who studies Vis Comm (Design), preferably 2^nd or 3^rd year.

Degree is looking for a Photographer!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Travelling around UWS campuses taking photos as needed for Degree stories
• Editing photos to fit size requirements

We are looking for a VisComm student who has a sound knowledge of photography practise and graphics. Degree is looking for a Student of the Week Writer!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing Student of the Week interviewee
• Interviewing these interviewees
• Writing a Student of the Week story every week to be published on Degree online
• Working with a photographer/taking your own photos of interviewees

We are looking for UWS student, preferably a writing or journalism student who has a huge amount of contacts at Uni. Our Student of the Week writer has to have ‘the gift of the gab’ and be able to discover interesting students and interview them from varied courses and campuses every week! Degree is looking for an Opinions Writer!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with and interviewing UWS administrative representatives, HIVE union representatives and UWS students
• Writing stories about current UWS issues with fairness and accuracy in addition to voicing your own personal opinions

We are looking for a UWS Journalism student who is a skilled writer with an inquisitive mind and a diplomatic manner. Dreaming of becoming a foreign correspondent or a political commentator? Degree is looking for a Societies Writer!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Getting into contact and interviewing members of different UWS societies and groups
• Writing up a story each week of a different group, which advertises their club as well as give info about their meeting habits. It will also include conducting interviews.
